Blankenship is more of a traditional church, we use the United Methodist Hymnal for corporate worship. Come dressed in what is comfortable, we are not formal in attire. During service we will sing about 2 hymns together, generally have a song of special music, there is an extended meet and greet time, children stay in the service. The sermon is about 20-25 minutes, and afterwards there is Sunday School for adults, children, and teenagers. On the first Sunday of the month we offer the Lord's Supper to all. We love to serve. On the first Saturday of the month we host a well attended community breakfast, we regularly collect donations for Haven of Hope (victims of domestic violence), monthly we serve at Journey Home soup kitchen in Murfreesboro, and we are in connection with Journey of Hope food pantry in Bell Buckle.
